Midaya Packaging Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. was incorporated in January 1987. The company designs and manufactures corrugated paperboards, cartons, graphic gift boxes and POP displays used as packaging and promotional material for both domestic and foreign markets.
Since its inception the company has grown steadily, improving and expanding its range of products and services and is today recognized as one of the leaders in the local packaging industry.
The Company fulfils the requirement for safe packaging in Sri Lankan industries against established contracts. Midaya Packaging Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. has a fully comprehensive integrated flexible packaging industry with well trained work force over 100 to manufacture corrugated boards of different types of flutings with the facility for printing, Laminating and die cutting. Products of Midaya Packaging Industries (Pvt) Limited are Marketed and distributed by its own Marketing.
The management strongly believes in continual improvement of the manufacturing process and its products with the adaptation of the available modern technologies for the industry and is strongly committed to safety, health and environment of its people and the surroundings.
Our parent company, Midaya Ceramic Company is one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of ornamental and utility ceramicware in the country, counting over 40 years of experience and exporting to leading companies worldwide.
The factory was initially operated at the same premises of Midaya Ceramic Company Limited, which was the Mother Company of Midaya Group of Companies Located at Pannipitiya. Later in January 1999 with further expansions, the factory was relocated at the present 17 acre premises at Meegoda in the suburbs of Colombo.
